History of the Ghana SME Awards

Since its inception in 2013, SME Ghana Awards – SMEGA® has achieved a number of industry firsts. Driven by our objective to be transparent and impartial, SMEGA® is with key state institutions and international SME focus driven worked together position Ghanaian SMEs as the pillar of economic growth and prosperity. SMEGA® independently researched and selected by an independent jury body based on data provided by applicants and verified by appointed credit agencies and/or auditors. With over 10,000 applicants across Ghana having participated in the program, we have a deep and unparalleled understanding of what separates successful growth and resilience companies from ordinary SMEs.
